The majority of TSIA testing is conducted online or in person at the TCC testing center, based on student requests. The exam is being offered to all students in person Mondays through Fridays and online at the student’s convenience. In addition, TABS does offer testing opportunities on campus. Incoming students had the opportunity to take the exam during Summer Bridge in June 2021.

Students are provided an unlimited number of opportunities to pass the TSIA and may request to test at any time either online or in person. Information about the TCC testing center can be found here. Information about how TCC handles the TSI assessment can be found here.

Students who, after multiple attempts, are not successful on the TSIA may enroll in Texas College Bridge. This self-paced, online program allows students to become TSI-met without taking the exam. More information about Texas College Bridge may be found here.
