Ms. Keri Flores

Principal
Keri Flores is a dedicated and accomplished educational leader with more than 27 years of experience in Fort Worth ISD. Originally from Kansas, Keri earned her degree in education from Kansas State University before relocating to Texas to pursue her passion for teaching and school leadership.
 
Throughout her career, Ms. Flores has been a transformative force in the schools she has served. She spent 11 years at Stripling Middle School, where she held roles as both assistant principal and principal. Under her leadership, the school underwent a remarkable turnaround, earning national recognition from the National Center for Urban School Transformation. Stripling was named one of America’s Top Schools for two consecutive years—a testament to her commitment to academic excellence and student success.
 
Most recently, Ms. Flores served as the principal of Western Hills High School for eight years. There, she focused on increasing student outcomes by building teacher efficacy and using data-driven practices to inform instruction. Her leadership emphasized collaboration, professional growth, and a culture of continuous improvement. She also helped create a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for students, teachers, and families alike.
Ms. Flores continues to be a passionate advocate for public education, driven by a belief in the power of schools to change lives and uplift communities.

Ms. Imelda Dunalp

Assistant principal

Imelda Dunlap, a native Texan and product of Fort Worth ISD, has been in education for more than two decades. She served in the United States Air Force and graduated from the University of Texas-Arlington, where she received her master's of education in educational leadership and policy. She is currently working on her doctorate in education from Texas Wesleyan University. 

During her career in Fort Worth ISD, she has worked as a classroom teacher, data analyst and assistant principal, providing service to the parents and students of this great community! She is the proud grandmother of six beautiful grandkids.
