Mr. Jack Henson

Principal

"I am so proud of both the character and dedication of our TABS family. It is a great honor to work with high school and college educators and staff who do everything in their power to help students be successful in achieving their dreams. Our partners at Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus are no small part of the continued success of Texas Academy of Biomedical Sciences." says Mr. Henson.

Mr. Henson is in his 28th year of education and seventh year as principal at Texas Academy of Biomedical Sciences. He taught as an orchestra director for 10 years before entering education administration. He received both his bachelor of music and master of education degrees from the University of North Texas. He is an experienced curriculum writer and says that he loves spending time with his family and church.

Ms. Imelda Dunalp

Assistant principal

Imelda Dunlap, a native Texan and product of Fort Worth ISD, has been in education for more than two decades. She served in the United States Air Force and graduated from the University of Texas-Arlington, where she received her master's of education in educational leadership and policy. She is currently working on her doctorate in education from Texas Wesleyan University. 

During her career in Fort Worth ISD, she has worked as a classroom teacher, data analyst and assistant principal, providing service to the parents and students of this great community! She is the proud grandmother of six beautiful grandkids.
